Bainbridge Island Health & Rehibilitation

If you were ever concerned about what you were going to do all day during your stay with us, you’re in for a surprise. You’ll see that there’s never a dull moment around here, and you can be as active and entertained as you choose!

Come Join The Fun

As providers of post-acute and long-term skilled nursing care, we understand to enhance both an individual’s health and quality of life requires more than just clinical expertise; it requires attention to the emotional, spiritual, social, psychological, and physical needs of our patients.  Providing interesting and varied activities and events is one more way we promote healing and recovery.

Each room is equipped with a telephone (upon request) and a flat screen television featuring DirectTV.

These are just some of the many activities we host at our center:

  • Movie Night
  • Bingo, Euchre, Bunco, Yahtzee, Cribbage, and other Games Available
  • Wii Activities
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Current Events, Economic News, and other Discussions on Topics of Interest
  • Bible Studies, Proverbs and Religious Services
  • Exercise Groups
  • Holiday Celebrations
  • Resident Council

All of our activities are planned and hosted by certified recreational therapists and/or experienced activities professionals and are tailored to each individuals abilities, preferences and/or interests.

Let’s Go Out & Hit The Town

We’ll gladly take you to the local shopping mall for some “retail therapy”.  We have these trips regularly scheduled, so ask us about our next excursion, or check the Calendar of Events on each floor so you don’t miss out.

Be sure to check the Calendar of Events posted on each floor for details on upcoming outings!

Church Services

Religious programs have always played an important role here at Bainbridge Island Health & Rehabilitation.  We have several different church services available in different denominations.  We are happy to accommodate everyone who wants to participate, regardless of preference.

If you want to learn something new, we’re happy to teach you, and chances are, we’ll learn something from you, too. So if you have any special skills you’d like to share with us, we would love to incorporate them into our schedule – just let us know.

Learn Something New

Care to take a cooking class?

How about a new way to exercise?

Perhaps you’re more of a card player?

Are you a painter?

Or maybe even a musician!

Take a look at just a few ideas we offer under Activities and Excursions – and there’s plenty more once you get here!
